Russian Pavilion Expo 2015

The Russian pavilion was designed by the most prestigious architectural firm in Moscow, “Speech”.

The 4 000 m2 structure stands out due to its long, convex-shaped cantilever (about 30 metres) that overlooks the promenade in front the main entrance and is completely covered in stainless steel.

The mirrored panels of the cantilever and the roof-top garden with a breathtaking view of the whole area are the real distinctive trait as well as the originality of the structure.

The structure is composed of tubular columns and 2 metre-high trusses, placed at various heights; they give a sense of movement to the whole building.
